Born and raised in Spanish Town, Jamaica, AirlineJay spent the first 12 years of his life not knowing he would grow up to has such an impact of the American rap game. Starting at an early age, Jay has always inherently favored music and it wasn't until he moved to New York that he was able to cultivate his art into what we know it as today. Coming from another country may be one of AirlineJay greatest advantages. His lyrics are filled with substance, artistry, and bars that are just plain missing in today's game.

 

AirlineJay's success has not come easily or overnight. He had to grind and fight for everything he’s accomplished, with no handouts or co-signs. Jay's tenure stretches back 14 years where he began writing but it wasn't until 5 years later did he really began to see his potential and decided to go all in.

 

Now as a resident of Albany, AirlineJay spends his free time improving his fitness to prepare for his upcoming tour where he will be performing hits from his latest album, “Feel Trip”. An avid traveler, AirlineJay credits his perspective to being exposed to so many different environments and cultures. When he’s not rocking the mic, AirlineJay works at a pharmaceutical company to pass time in between projects.
